The 60's/ 70's era brought about expansive changes for millions of like-minded young minds. A year prior to becoming a marijuana smuggler, my older brother introduced me to a new way of life. Fascinated by this, I embraced the absolute laws of the universe and began learning about All That Is.
When I decided to write a memoir about our five-year journey, I became lost, not only emotionally but also as to what to write about. I wrote the book anyway, then tucked it away. Two decades later, having paved paths of awareness and empowerment, I once again began.
Through the magical healing powers of writing, doors to feelings opened, which in turn opened doors to perceptions that allowed me to bring forward a more
"real me" as well as the real-life realities we faced.
Now that I have accomplished my mission, come join me, please.
Smuggling is a ruthless business-- but this was the Brotherhood era. We chose peaceful means to operate, not guns and violence that are so common in this contemporary era where
"gangsta" is more than just a rap. My stories are about three young men, each of us who had chosen individual paths, and how it was that each of us succumbed to self-destruction in accordance to our emotional shortcomings. The many challenges and duplicities we faced all had a hand, which adds significant depth, purpose and uniqueness to the stories. Power-of-love always restores trust and confidence. It was used to go beyond the norm of everyday existence.
Though these stories are from a by-gone era, they are reality writ large. Should you question their validity, I can prove them true."
